Professional Growth

MaFLA offers a wide variety of professional growth opportunities.

Each year the Massachusetts Foreign Language Association holds an annual conference.  This conference provides members with a variety of pre-conference workshops, post-conference workshops, two- and three-hour workshops as well as many concurrent sessions. 

During the summer months, MaFLA members can participate in our annual Immersion Workshops.  These workshops provide participants an opportunity to spend up to three days in an immersion setting to enhance their language and cultural  skills as well as learn of new pedagogies and connect with colleagues.

In May each year, MaFLA offers its Diversity Day.  This provides members the opportunity to enrich their knowledge and skills through high level workshops in an immersion setting.

For 2010, MaFLA is planning a Technology Workshop for its members.
